Other than that I do not know about 0305 models, since my interest in Momotaro mainly resides at their core models (GTB, Vintage Label and Copper Label). Though I like the tapered fits, the path Momotaro ventured in is not my cup of tea.

Why don't they make any high end jeans for girls?

I spoke to me bespoke jeans maker yesterday, but managed to resist ordering another pair"....they cost a lot more than even top Japanese jeans (natural indigo etc), so as I've dramatically overspent on clothing budget this year custom jeans are a very long way down the list ATM

Momos don't fit me because the hips are too wide!!

I recently got the 0701, these are my second pair of momos, I think this is going to be my only brand from now on, I think the cuts are great.

Has anyone checked out the 0305-L? Looks interesting; I wonder how these would fade (if at all).

Interesting, I guess these jeans are a summer model

Momotaro x The Denim Store

Barely a month in of 3-4 days of wear per week. Been rotating between these and a Triple Works x Blue Owl collab. Need to trash these harder

Probably going to pick up the 16.5oz JB0412s soon, but a little unsure about the sizing. Japan Blue's site seems to indicate that they're super oversized compared to tagged while some other places like BOW and Context have much smaller measurements. Any sizing advice? Also, does anyone know if Japan Blue's use cotton thread like Momotaro or poly-cotton (I'd actually prefer poly-cotton myself for the extra durability)?

I would go with BOW measurements. Japanese manufacturers often measure jeans different than the BIG method.

FWIW, IME Japan Blues are significantly vanity sized compared to their equivalent Momotaro counterparts

As Spencer said, they make some. But generally (and incorporating all sorts of over generalizations)

Women, particularly historically, have less frequently been cowboys, motorcycle mechanics, etc. As a result, both as a practical piece of clothing and a piece of iconography jeans don't have quite the same association with our conceptions of femininity as with those of masculinity.
Steve McQueen or James Dean in jeans? Generally yes. Marilyn Monroe or Audrey Hepburn? Not so much as a referent.
Living rough, getting dirty, and not giving a s*** are (again, over-generalizing but with a grain of generalized truth) more masculine values (real or projected) than feminine.
OCD hobbyist stuff, which drives some of the high end denim stuff, is probably a bit more of a guy thing than a gal thing.
How many women do you know who would have fun proudly talking about how many months they went without washing their jeans despite spilling beer on them, bleeding on them, puking on them, and mountain biking in them?
