Basically I share the same sentiment as Icon. That and the stf denim always ends up fitting me best since I am a small guy. [B[With saf denim I have to size down a lot, and often end up with a pair of jeans that are just ok in terms of fit.[/B] Love that the vintage denim is heavier, the details are exquisite, the hand of the denim is much more appealing and the dye and color of the denim is beautiful. Still love my JB's, but I will most likely end up with either a 701 or 001 in the momo's.

How does this make sense. If a pair is true to tagsize you size down accordingly to compensatie stretch. If you have to size down much; this must be due to vanity sizing or trying to fit into a pair that is not suited for your bodytype/build.

@ CalTex: Check a page back, you asked about thigh measurements and what size to take on which I replied half a sheet of paper :p

If you don't mind, I'd love your input on my case.
True Waist:33.5"
Hips:35.75"
Upper Thigh:23"
Knee:14.75"
Desired Rise:~10"

I've got a pair of 0701 in a size 34 coming with the following measurements: 36.15" waist, 10.85" rise, 12.4" thigh, 9.4" knee, 39.5" inseam, 8.65" leg opening.

Good match? I plan on hot soaking them twice when they arrive, I'm a little worried about the thighs though...

It's quite noticeable on the 0702, less so on the vintage label denims especially once they start to break in.
I didn't really like the pink inseam initially, but have grown to appreciate it as a unique detail.

I don't mind it. I was skeptical at first but now I like it.

I hate the new Japan Blue logo on the patch. Looks like something an 11 year-old drew in her notebook.

Can anyone recommend a store in Tokyo to get Japan Blue x Momotaro? Specifically looking for the tapered straight either 0400SP or JB0401

Why Tokyo? BlueOwl can sort you out. Jay is one hell of a good guy when it.comes to ordering denim.

^In Beijing at the moment and my dad will be in Tokyo

Ah, sorry. Well, you might be able to get a list of shops that sell Momotaro on the corporate website, just google it and see if it helps you out.

I tried on a pair of these the other day: http://www.blueowl.us/scripts/psp/VB_Bridge3.dll?VBPROG=\bin\shop.prodt.detail&SKU=7992003
They fit somewhat tight in the thighs and calves, but not with a small amount of stretch it would be ideal, and near perfect in the waist (though bordering on a little loose). The website says sanforized, though the store at which I tried the denim on said they were unsanforized. I'm now unsure if I should size up or not. Any tips would be great, thanks.
