Momotaro - Page 185

My 1705's should arrive shortly. Since they're only 10oz denim, is it worth putting them through the six month no wash/soak routine if that's what one is into? My 702s have about 2 1/2 months wear and some pretty nice electric blue fades are coming through.

Gorgeous. Just picked up a pair of deep indigo 0202's over the weekend. The colour is absolutely amazing.

Jay those are beautiful. I'm so tempted to get a pair of 1705s but I already have too many pairs of raw jeans.

what do u guys mean by special ordering thru jay? whats the diff?

Blue Owl doesn't usually stock the 1705s, I've only seen them on BiG. So I guess he's suggesting getting in contact with Jay to special order the 1705s. 1705 is the 10 oz light weight denim, while the regular 705 is the normal 15.7 oz denim.

first time buying raws, i dont get the sizing thing :P

I'm a size 30 and I'm looking at the BOM 004 on the blueowl site

Do I get:

Size 28 (30" waist, 9.75" rise, 11" thigh, 8.1" knee, 35.5" inseam, 7.1" leg opening)

or the

Size 30 (31" waist, 10" rise, 11" thigh, 8.3" knee, 34.5" inseam, 7.5" leg opening)

Thanks :)

Measure your most favorite pair of pants and then compare the measurements against the jeans your are contemplating.

The BOM4's probably are very soft though, much like Copper Labels. I would sugges you get them to fit snug right of the bat. There is some stretch, most noticeble in the waist, other parts don't give much though. Thigh measurements are the most important factor. Get them right,

To add, keep in mind that your reference pair is somewhat the same fit as the jeans you're intending to purchase. This is in particalur important for the topblock (front-, backrise, thigh area).

Definitely measure your favorite pair of pants or your own waist. Momotaros sit low on your waist, so keep that in mind. They run true to size. I am a 29 or a 30 in most jeans, but I have a 32" waist, so I wear a 32 in Momotaros.

my JBxMomo 0400SP stretches quite a lot on the waist.i took a W34 which is 36.5",it is my first time buying momo.I guess I could have sized down one,but if I do,the thigh and nutsack will be tight as hell! lol

To get the extra tight 0400SP fits, you need to orient the twig and berries due north.
