We sound about the same size. I purchased a 33 in the 400sp, and they have loosened up fair enough through the seat and pockets. I think you'll love them. Good purchase. Just wear them and it'll come.

Hey guys, just finished reading the whole backlog of this thread. My understanding of the relationship between Japan Blue and Momotaro is much clearer now.

Back in October I picked up some JB401s (size 33) from Jay. Here are some fit pics from the first day:

I am in the process of moving to San Francisco and so I don't have my camera right now to take recent detail shots, but I can update later in January sometime.

I have found that the JB401 waist stretches out a fair bit. I haven't measured, but I almost wish I sized down to 32. Thighs might get a little tight though.

The BOM006 look so tempting... but I just got these jb401s... Don't want to cop a new pair of indigo jeans till next October, but BOM006 would be exactly what I want for my next purchase.

My JB101s at 6 really difficult to capture true color, these are a tad more contrasty IRL. They wear really slow compared to my Flat Heads and my Sams but I dig it. Waiting for a size 28 grand indigo to show up on Jay's sight.

Nice fit dude!

I have the same thought too,so i have pledged not to get any jeans at least until after 6-8 months.feels like an AA pledge.lol.

very nice fades for even 6 months.6 months rite?

how did you get that phone fade?of course you didnt sit on them.so just by having them at the back pocket while walking will get that fade??
