Momotaro - Page 98

Can I get some comments on this fit:

JB 700sp tagged size 30. Not sure whats happening in the front upper thigh area. I was also a bit sweaty so the jeans where sticking :/

700

700

EDIT: The thigh front is funny cause of how the rise works, it looks ok after I adjusted it a bit (lowered the sides)

What the heck... didn't even know about these, great price point too. I just bought some APC Petite Standards as a second pair to my Flat Head BSP's. Now I'm considering selling them to get the Japan Blue JB401...

APC is kind of retarded and doesn't do returns in-store, only in-store credit... lame.

@ Jay:

How is the color on the loose weave JBxBO? Like Grand Indigo or more like 0702?

That is a good price, however I want the ones without the white stripes on the pockets.

Oh man only 118!  My next denim is going to be a deep indigo but I don't know if I'm a big fan of the stitching on those..

Hello community smile.gif

So I soaked my pair of Momos (BOMO003) a while ago, and when I wore them for the first time, I noticed only little change.

and here are the pre/post measurements

Waist 32 - 31.4

Thigh 11 - 10.7

Knee 8.35 - 8

Leg opening 7.5 - 7.3

From what I see, nothing much has changed, measurement wise, or fit wise.

Considering how the jeans are unsanforized and therefore shrink noticeably (hence buy a size up) should I hot soak them again for more shrinkage?

That's not much. Beware though, thouroughly soaked cottonfibers are more likely to shrink more than when just placing them in a bucket. When agitating the denim, like when washing, first thing will happen.

More shrinkage is to be expected.

a bit too flash for me... going for more of a low key look, although I do think it's kind of cool for strictly streetwear, it just doesn't look as good 'dressed up' a tad.
