a year or so ago he quoted me like 40 or 50 bucks to take up the hem on a shirt. needless to say i took my shirt elsewhere.

So is there a consensus- or even thoughts on a good tailor that is either inexpensive or moderately priced in the DC area?

Bumping this thread, i'm looking for a good tailor who is reasonably priced in DC. I have gone to Kim's and found the service to be pretty poor and expensive. I can't say how he did on the actual tailoring since I am by far an expert like many on here, I just didn't get a good feeling from his shop or the overall experience. Any other suggestions?
