Is Edgar Pomeroy still in business in Buckhead?

I don't live in Atlanta but I've always heard good things about him.

Older story here.

Have any of you guys had shirts or pants made at Hong Kong Tailors?

I had a minor alteration with Sid Mashburn and no problem. I had a more significant alteration with Mario Bosco (lowering my suit collar). It took two tries but it turned out great. I think he was just conservative the first time.

I used El-gent for a simple back darting and they stained a shirt and claimed it wasn't their fault.

. Iuse them regularly for altering shirts and pants and they have done a very good job for me. They are also very reasonable. Ask for Neil. I would suggest getting one item altered and then deciding whether ti alter more. Good luck.

I have had shirts custom made by them and they have turned out great. I get more compliments on them than I have ever gotten with any shirts from any fashion labels. Also Neil will work with to get your fit exactly right. I have never had pants made by them.

And get ready for a massive sell job on why you MUST use them for a custom suit...

srsly though, Neil's a good guy, and they always came through for me.. They have a guy who does terrific handmade buttonholes..

Are HK tailors better than Mario Bosco? Mario is a great guy to deal with and everytime I see his car in the lot with him having a cig out front I know I'll be treated well when I walk in.

I know this is old but I need some suggestions for a tailor. I need the sides of my suit taken out since the jacket is too snug. I spoke with Sid today and they are currently on a 3 week turn around which is too much to wait. I am considering European Alterations, Bangkok Tailor and Alterations or this other tailor/seemstrees called Gizzelle James Couturiere. What do y'all think will be the best price and quality?

Also, I noticed someone mentioned the BB tailor has his own store. Is he any good? If so do you have the info for that?

Is this what your talking about? Also, ever used Bangkok or Gizelle? They are really close to me. HK is a drive.
