A major flaw in that article is thinking of the Louvre as an art museum and not the tourist trap it really is. Their salon hung plunder hardly invites deep reflection.

There is nothing more ridiculous than the people who walk around and take shots of paintings with cameras and leave.

When I was standing in front of Raffael's Sistine Madonna at the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister in Dresden, I made damn sure I took a picture of it.

Who cares?

Most people are philistines who only have a superficial interest in art anyway.

Art is often used as a means of social climbing. I am amused and disgusted by art dealers who are only interested in representing artists who have studied at certain academies -- what pretentious morons -- I pity them for never understanding the true value of great art.
