Yes, the Bootcut Olas are misnamed - they are much more of a straightleg than the RRs. It sounds like what you are looking for are Flare Glenns, which I believe to be discontinued, but Traffic in LA (Beverly Center), or maybe HTC, or maybe DenimBar may still have some.

Loose? You mean flared, right?

Yes, flared. You see, the larger they are at the hips, the more flared they are at the hem. So, if you buy, say a size 28, you are going to get a pair of straightlegs. On the other hand, if you buy a pair of size 32, there is going to be a pronounced flare. And if you buy a pair of 34+, you are getting deep into True Religion World. That's just the way Nudie cuts its jeans.

Edit: This is sarcasm, for all who didn't get it the first time around.

I don't think this necessarily true. At least not in my case. I agree that with the legs and thighs area, you're not gonna see more stretching than what will accomodate you. But with the waist on the RRDS, it's a different story. Most of the waistband (especially the top-back) is bigger than my actual hip. I'm guessing that regular motions (sitting down, squatting, bending) causes movement which stretches things in many directions and you will have cases where it'll grow more than just your body measurements. I'm almost sure if I had gotten 30, I'd be wearing a belt right now. But different experiences for different folks. Everyone has their own definition of loose and tight.
