Canada Goose - Page 8

^ Toronto is pretty close, come down to bay/bloor or the financial district on a windy winter day, you'll feel the difference, thankfully my cg holds up damn well.

Well from what I heard north face is not liked by all the snobs on here. But it is a popular outside the forum, so it must be warm.

Someone care to chime in?

I'm not complaining, just telling him what I read. Who really takes a public seriously?

I agree with you...I could care less what is "approved" here. People in the real world dont go around wearing stuff based upon if it's approved on SF or not.

not snobs, just picky about what we wear, at least for me. but you know what, if your happy wearing north face then wear north face. it doesnt matter what anyone says or thinks, it matters what you want. its really not difficult actually. if you want to wear what everyone is and your happy with that then its all fluffy kittens and rainbows... but since this a fucking cg post then maybe we could talk about http://www.canada-goose.com/

In terms of "is it warm compared to Canada Goose" I can tell you no its not. I currently have a north face gotham that I been wearing for the past two winters and I also had a CG chilliwack that I sold last year. In -20 temperature while wearing my north face, I can definitively still feel cold especially the upper chest area. But when I had my CG, like other owners metioned you can basically wear a t shirt under and you will be good. Hope this helps

But how about when it is warmer than -20? Then I would imagine North Face being better. You also have to consider that it only reaches -20 or colder for a combined week or two per season.
