Hi guys, Need a little help deciding on where to take a girl i've been seeing for 2 weeks for lunch for her birthday. I've searched this forum but all the recommendations were for downtown locations. I'm looking for an uptown location (north of eglinton and east of yonge preferably). On another thread someone recommended north44, but i tried to book and they are full until sept 3rd . So if anyone can recommend good food with nice service, it would be greatly appreciated. Pls don't flame, i used search for 15 mins and couldn't find what i was looking for. Date: Aug 6th. Meal: Lunch Price range: ~75-80 and preferably under 100, i'm in school Location: uptown - north of eglinton and east of yonge Ps. we're in our early 20s. Thanks so much for your time. your help is greatly appreciated. Regards,

Centro is great (on Yonge, north of Eglinton), but likely outside your budget.

If you're willing to go slightly south of Yonge, Zucca (on Yonge near Manor Road), is great for Italian and Simple Bistro (on Mount Pleasant, south of Eglinton) is very good as well. Both should be right around your budget, depending on how much you drink.

I'm eyeing Oliver & Bonacini Cafe Grill at sheppard and bayview. Has anyone been here before? Do i have to dress up or is jeans + polo enough? Thanks Young Pro, i looked up those places and will probably go for Zucca if Oliver and bonacini doesn't work out

Oliver & Bonacini Cafe Grill is a nice choice, well it was when I last dined there 4~ish years ago. Casual will work as long as its not ripped jeans/shorts with thong sandals

There's one in Oakville. From what I saw inside, I don't think you need to dress up for it but then it's Oakville. Jump or Canoe you might but not these ones.
