I heard a weird remix of Relm's theme song from Final Fantasy VI and it reminded me how great a game it was/is. I'd say it's my favorite game ever, among Zelda: Link to the Past, Super Metroid, and some other great SNES titles...

What are your all time favorites? Mine:

Final Fantasy VI
Tekken (ongoing, current version is 5, my favorite is Tekken Tag Tournament)
Zelda: A Link to the Past
Smash Bros. Melee
Super Metroid
Final Fantasy Tactics
Initial D (arcade, not PS)
Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Katamari Damacy
Double Dragon II

On another video game note.. really looking forward to the PS3 in November and the Nintendo Revolution around the same time, and of course, I'm dying to play the new Zelda on Gamecube..

FFVII
FFIX
!?
FFVII always bothered me that it was the game that got all the morons into RPGs, especially FFs.

FFIX I thought was alright. Nowhere near Tactics or 6 though

My favorite:

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

The rest of the top five in no particular order:

Metal Gear Solid
Earthbound
Half-Life
Grand Theft Auto (1)

Other good ones:

Shenmue
Smash Bros. series
Quake 2
Half-life 2
Zelda: Majora's Mask
Zelda: Link to the Past
Zelda: Link's Awakening
Zelda: Wind Waker
The rest of the GTA series
Castlevania series
Super Metroid
Power Stone
Metal Slug series
Warioworld series
Sonic the Hedgehog series
And of course Mario Bros. series

And Brian, though I've never liked RPGs, I'm currently playing FFVII. I'm actually really enjoying it, and thinking maybe there is something for me in the genre. I suppose I've earned your scorn?

Zelda: A Link to The Past -- Absolutely my fave. #2 was my only PC game: Falcon V -- amazing, amazing. Others: Arkanoid -- simple. fun. Super Mario Brothers -- the original. It rules. The Adventures of Zelda -- again, the original. SMB3 -- the followup the joke that was SMB2 should have been Tokyo, Hogan's Alley? Awesome choice. BION, I really like flipping those cans... I can't forget Super Mario World, mainly because this guy was very cute:

I probably shouldn't vote since I haven't played a video game since the SNES, though I've toyed with the idea to check out the Zelda series. Regards, Huntsman

Super Mario Bros. 1

I didn't beat it until I was a senior in college, so never really bothered to upgrade past NES.

I liked all the old Lucasarts games - the Monkey Island series, Zak McCracken, Full Throttle, Loom, all those ones.

Smash TV - just d/led the SNES version, still fun.

Premiere on Amiga 500.

Max Payne.

Metal Gear Solid.

Doom.

Super Mario 3 and Super Mario World.

Pretty much any Capcom fighting game, especially the Marvel/Capcom collaborations.

I haven't bought a game in a while, but I'm considering picking up Eidos' new Rogue Trooper game.
