received my oxfords in the mail just to see if they could be used as beater shoes for the winter.....well forget that (even uglier in person than in pictures).

Dude, these stores decide what the kids will wear, not the other way around.

Both those shoes look hideous. I know some people think, "Oh they're so cheap!" But this stuff does add up guys.

Anybody check out the Cabin boots in person? They do look nice ...

Am I the only one who thinks it's funny that every piece of footwear has "free returns" as the first thing listed under the picture? That's telling.

I just got the Redwing knock-off. I'm actually pretty happy with it.

They fit true to size, right? Might cop em just as a work boot. Price is pretty hard to pass up

Can anyone link to the Red Wings these things are knocking off? Maybe If I compare the construction of them or something, I can convince myself not to get these.

Ya, I went TTS and its a pretty damn good fit.


The AE version is a little bit more low-profile than the Redwing version, too. Which I think is good (at least for a fashion/style boot)


And honestly, the quality seems there. Appears to have a Goodyearwelt and pretty nice leather. Time will tell.

If you look around, you can imagine a scenario where the companies were wondering why footwear wasn't selling well online, and what they can do to change it. Seems like every large store offers free returns on footwear now.. boosts customer confidence.
