just finished cold mountain. watching this movie again, I realize how ridiculous the supporting cast was... that chick from bones, cillian murphy, natalie portman, philip seymour hoffman

I watched about 10 minutes of Alexander just before I came on SF but good lord that film is terrible, everyone's criticisms were justified. I think I'll watch the extended edition of watchmen later to see if the extra 1/2 hour or so improved the pacing. Apparently the 4+ hour complete edition isn't out until december, annoyingly, so I'll have to wait on that one.
