I rented The Tempest last night, mostly because of the movie stills that I had seen. What a ******* terrible movie. I made it through only the first half hour because the acting was horrible, as were the sets and effects. It was a good lineup of actors, but it seemed like it took all of their abilities to simply recite the lines. Has anyone ever seen a Shakespeare movie that they've actually liked?

watched the whole thing  hated it.

speaking of movies, i watched The Trip last week. was funny (british humor) and the scenery was nice, reminded me of that Damir Doma short film with the rock walls. its about an actor travelling to some restaurants and critiquing the food; looked delicious too.

I had thought about checking out some of Olivier's movies. I pretty much hate Branagh with a passion.

In other news, I was mildly insulted that the cost of an item in USD was higher than the CAD price.
