No BBS nor CCP... weird. Or maybe not weird since they seem to be changing their business approach.

BBS is setting up a shop of their own in NYC I think. CCP was picked up by another shop in NYC, or so says SZ.

Atelier is looking to actually make money this time.

Oh, cool. Yeah, seems like they´re getting some more mainstream brands. Hope they change  their site and make it easier to purchase.

As I understand it Karlo's involvement is limited, if he's involved at all (may not be). I wouldn't expect the same store.

Oh, and yeah, Atelier did have Ackermann's first go at menswear.
I wonder who picked up CCP. Only a few possibilities really: IF, DSM, who else?

You know Willy, that's based on your search history.

Are your nipples perky?

HAVE GOT TO STOP BUYING JEANS!!!

Promised final pair from boyfriend - don't know what he'll get me this time - Hotpants haven't turned up yet luckily

Still have 5/6 pairs of jeans on wishlist..

Not buying any jeans after Hotpants and boyfriends jeans finally arrive until at least 2 pairs or one pair plus Levi's parka worn out..

Is there a Holy Grail pair of jeans?????

It's always "the last pair"- then I find more!!!!!

My current avatar is the pair Jennifer Lopez "designed" with the diamond button for $2 million!

I think I need another closet and an infinite denim budget..smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif

Do not believe!  Those are adsense ads, which are all cookie based or bought "programmatically".  What I invariably see are the items I've been looking at on Yoox and Forward.  I am also getting some for the Sennheiser headphones I've been looking up.

Other explanations: your girlfriend has been using your computer; you run an adblocker and have a very small number of sites whitelisted, so that google gets confused; google images caught you in the middle of a nip slip more than once.

@LA Guy - Does SF get revenue/ some sort of boost from me seeing ads, even if I don't click? I use this site a lot, but have always had adblock enabled and I'd feel guilty if me using it blocks revenue for you.

However, if it doesn't, I'm going to continue...

Yes, Styleforum gets money for each pageview, for ads like those served up by adsense.  All non-direct advertising comes under one of three categories.  CPM is the most common form of payout, and it is the revenue per 1000 impressions.  Then there are CPC ads, or revenue per click, and the revenue per earned commission.  Like pretty much any decent sized site that has professional people running the ad feeds, our ad people try to optimize between the three sources of revenue.  It's obviously not an exact science.

Ad revenues are pretty much how any internet media and social media site survives/thrives/makes a billion dollars.  Obviously, it would be great if you would whitelist Styleforum.  We already forego a far bit of ad revenue by not allowing interactive ads, autoplay ads, etc... that are now the norm across the space, to make Styleforum a good experience for anyone who comes to the site.

I think if one enjoys and benefits from using Styleforum for free, then it's only fair that you allow them to serve the ads that help it to exist. Respect for not allowing irritating ad formats.
