Ok, so outside of designers that use their own name for their brand. What are good names?
Cloak? Maybe not "good" but pretty much perfectly appropriate for what they did.

In UK, a "public school" is actually a very expensive and exclusive private school.

Devoa sounds cool.. like sounds like a hip clothing brand and it's really easy to Google

Fun to say aloud and easy to pronounce

Temple of Jawnz is a terrible, cringe worthy name, even Drew admits it.

Well, those guys just went to public school in NYC and though "hey, what a great name".
I caught the bendy buses in Sydney a lot as a kid, I will call my brand "bendy bus".

Geez, tough crowd.

IMO, the only terrible names are the ones I can't Google to find more stockists/ sales. Cloak, Grey, One, etc are all bad in that regard.

The best/worst Engrish name is Pherrow's Sportswear. Cracks me up every time I see it. I've seen a couple of their Ts that I like, but I can't bring myself to pay to have that on my chest.

And oh yeah, I've always thought Arc'Teryx Veilance is a pretty pretentious name.

This thread has made me go read the About Me section for some of these brands. People write some insanely pretentious bollocks about themselves.

YES. There is a brand on Yoox called "8". That's it. Just the number. My guess is, other than Yoox, 100% of their revenue comes from brick and mortar sales because you will never be able to find them online ever

I think you can probably get away with a joke name for joke shoes.

Espadrilles remind me of teenage holidays in Spain. The only two weeks of the year when a geezer could justify wearing espadrilles. I'd always come home adamant I'd keep wearing them. But they're not too practical when it's pissing down in filthy London.

If you liked Bebop, try Trigun and Samurai Champloo. Trigun is a space western, Samurai Champloo isn't (as the name suggests). However it's directed by the same guy who did Bebop. He just took the "jazz + space western" formula and reimagined it as "hip hop+ feudal Japan".

Thanks for the recs. I've seen Samurai Champloo before but I'll have to check out Trigun. Anyone got any other recs for futuristic/space anime?
