^^i'd never heard of second layer, so i went to check out their website. no opinion on the clothes, but this video is one of the most truly obnoxious things i've seen in awhile: http://www.secondlayer.us/collections/autumn-winter-2013/fw_001/

If you stay to the end, he picks up one of the birds and starts smoking it

some tips:
- Stay at decent or above chain hotel
- Get car/driver service from hotel
- Or only use cabs stationed at the hotel and have them wait or come back for you
- Avoid walking anywhere at night
- get all info necessary before leaving your hotel from concierge/main desk
- Avoid chit-chat with randoms or cops, if you need help or directions on the street ask a business employee

it may sound a bit paranoid but better safe than sorry (btw, I've been there several times)

Perhaps experienced as one in a series of epiphanies, albeit in each case undermined by later experiences as the source or circumstances of the epiphany becomes routinized and commonplace, leading us to question whether the epiphanies truly had the powerful transformative effects on the artist as the narrative initially suggested, but which nonetheless helped the artist free himself from the bounds of the social, religious, political, end even familial institutions which hinder him from the development of his esthetic senses?

Perhaps, like the writings of Aristotle and Aquinas, they serve as a jumping-off point or as a set of tools that can be employed to examine the esthetic questions each artist must face in his struggle to define art and to define the role of the artist in its creation.

Thanks for the tips. We'll be staying at the Radisson for a conference. I'll be heading out for the afternoons, and plan to use cabs from the hotel. I'll be sure to have them recommend the best method for returning to the hotel. I've spent a fair amount of time in larger cities (including San Jose, CR), so I think I'm fairly adept at fitting in (although, I am tall with a red beard).

I think I'll just wear tees/jeans/ball caps for the most part, and nicer clothes for going out to dinner as a group...

Isn't much like brazil and very depended on the neighbourhood?

I was told most of the same things going to brazil and I honestly never felt insecure.

absolutely depends on where you are and who you're with

I've gone mostly on business and I have some local friends as well so its been pretty safe for me

but even the locals will warn you of some horrific shit that goes down over there

The founder of Fear of God seems pretty interesting though. His father was a pro baseball player and he used to work for the Dodgers. He says he built Matt Kemp's (lol) "brand," w/e that is now.
