So anyone who's in the nike thread knows I'm super into these nike running pants. I bought a pair in gray thinking they'd be like tailored sweats, but they are a lot harder to make work than I expected--My friend told me they look like baseball pants and I"m inclined to agree.

I might just cut my losses and turn them into shorts, but if anyone had an idea of how to make them work a bit better i'd be all ears smile.gif

Those look pretty bad anyway. Tailored sweats suck too.

I ditched my standard cut "khakis" for ones that are more cut like jeans in the leg. So they have a slimmer/stackier leg but still have slash pockets.  Standard cut chinos make me feel like #superdadguynormcoreseinfeld.

p.s. I've always used the term "khakis" until I realized that's more of a color and that "chino" better referred to the material.

My APC khakis were great when I still wore khakis. Or, if you're a Yoox fiend, try Tonello or Mauro Grifoni.

I recently just bought a pair of denim in a long time. I much prefer my virgin wool/silk trousers

I've been wanting to copy this fit in my own way for a long time, I have all the pieces except the right pair of dark brown boots...those I can't find anywhere

Heads up, Uni-qlo mesh airism is pretty good in the summer for gross pale people like me who don't wanna show a lot of skin. 80% poly / 20% cotton
Sporty, breathable, lightweight mesh fabric, but not nipple-outlining thin like the regular airism line which I don't like (and my wife got a lecture about "public decency" from her friend after wearing it about braless...). Slightly sheer, but not noticeable on the black. They're also slim regardless of the size so you can size-up for extra length and drape - I'm usually an M in Uni-Qlo, wearing an XL here. No clue how it'll hold up after a couple washes, but they're only 2 for $10. If you live somewhere awful and cotton tees are too hot, highly recommended

This is sick.

5-zip + straight trousers is a good combo:

awful picture but i tried to channel that look with some loose/ straight leg grifoni pants. (probably the opposite direction from 'dressed up' though, drawstring waist and slouchy fit makes them more like sweatpants)
