My traveling footwear is Margiela Sidezips and maybe my lone St Laurent Sidezip with Margiela Sandals. No sneakers here

Of course my travels are usually walk a couple feet from boat or plane to beach.
Who does so much walking on vacation anyways? If I have to walk too much it's not a vacation. I work out all year to completely bum it for 2 weeks dammit

Eh, I'm just not a "sit on the beach" type of dude. I really want go out to see and learn interesting things. Different strokes is all.

Did an all-inclusive beach vacation for the first and probably last time last month. I love beaches and water as much as anyone, but I can't sit there all week long eating and drinking the same thing in the same place. Left the resort entirely for days 4-7 and explored a bit. Resort was probably stoked we didn't get anywhere close to our money's worth haha.

I die a little bit inside every minute I sit on beach, I don't care how many hot bikini girls, liquor or food there is, I get bored just being there.

Vacation I'm world is going somewhere new experiencing something new, although I go to London almost yearly.

Yeah this.

To your point about London, you could probably go there nearly every year and still experience something new for decades.

I primarily just go to shop, but yeah that city changes crazy fast.

Along the lines of comfortable footwear, can anyone recommend sandals that look good and are still supportive?
I love my birks but cant wear them with any kind of stylish summer fit. I like those Italian leather sandals but they seem to lack any support. Anything that hits both points?

How hard would it be to start my life over in London? I have about $10,000 USD saved up and no real skills.

Visa/passport is not an issue.

That's not much money so you won't live in central London, you can live in like dalston or somewhere a bit shit. I pay about $1300 a month to live in a tiny room in central. London's nice I suppose, don't find it particularly different to any major city. I don't know why you would decide to move here for no real reason.

$1300? Is Central the UK equivalent of downtown?

Moaning is a skill in the UK and you have that down Distorbiant. wink.gif

New drunken fistfights, new pools of vomit, new barbarity.

Fuuma, what are some things that you like in life (outside of fashion/style)?

I don't know new york so I don't know. By central I mean if you look at a map of london above the river between the hyde park and st pauls and I suppose just over the bridge to the south. All pretty similarly priced. I live on tralfalgar square and am moving to just over the river and yeah both are a bit over $300 a week for a room. If you go further south or north east it's a lot cheaper. A lot of people move to the north east, areas like shoreditch, which i guess are like brooklyn. I would rather live there to be honest, but it's not convenient for uni. Anything south west like kensington is a fair bit more expensive.
