Anyone know where I can find a simple pair of boots like these RRL Linvgstones? Rugged but kinda sleek at the same time.

One difference is you'll get about twice as much if you spent it on Devoa.

Thanks for the rec, they look great! Just wish they had non-grained leather and that metal around the eyelets...

This.

Y'all are traveling to boring places, though
Just bought tix to Myanmar, no clue they had direct flights from here

edit: I'm actually pretty jealous of anyone who can get to Europe easily for a couple days, I'd have to take a 10-day trip to make dropping the airfare worth it

ordered size 52 Barena blazer from yoox. typically 42 in UK/US... i have a feeling it's gonna be a bit slim :/ anybody had any experience with them? the Barena thread is dead...

It will likely be slim and cropped but that's sort of Barena's thing. Is it a knit or woven fabric? If it has some give you'll likely be fine.

cotton/ linen, probably just a little bit of a give.. if it's too slim then I'll probably just wear them unbuttoned over tees. original intention was to both wear them like that and comfortably buttoned over shirts, oh well

You should probably be fine. I'm usually a 42 and recently ordered a 54 blazer because I heard they fit small and it was way too big in the shoulders and body. I tried some pants though in 52 and they were way too small so their sizing is all over I think.

I was in Myanmar for about 6 days during a 6 week trip around Asia. Took the night bus from Yangon to Bagan ($32 round trip) and caught both sunrise and sunset at the perfect times. Bagan is probably the coolest place I've been, maybe only tied by Ha Long Bay.

The Myanmar people I met were also the nicest to tourists I've ever seen, by far. Really friendly, reached out to help when we looked lost, not pushy at all when selling souvenirs. Just a great country.
