I stopped reading the books long ago, but if you haven't figured out how things work in GoT yet there's no hope for you.

He's huge too but recently started incorporating weights. I like combining all sorts of exercise in order to become well rounded and have functional strength. When I see the juicers at the gym I can't possibly understand why you'd want to look absurd and have useless muscle of that size that just slows you down. Don't get me wrong I thoroughly enjoying lifting a lot of iron too. Yes I do isolated movements but compound is better and calisthenics is my favorite. I just don't understand why you'd limit yourself or just be that guy with the romaleos who always hogs the rack doing deadlifts, or the guy who hogs the bench or that guy who's whole workout involves cables. All that is a waste of time unless combined with a well rounded routine. My favorite is seeing the random crossfitter who thinks he's next level doing garbage kipping pullups and I stunt on them doing non kipping muscle ups on top of the cable frame.

Why are you talking about the gym like it's a bunch of waring tribes or some shit? Who deadlifts in romeleos? Who deadlifts in a power rack? gear doesn't make useless muscle or else every professional athlete wouldn't be on and the first half of your paragraph kind of contradicts the 2nd.

One of their directors calmly stated the mountain is poisoned and will die which I guess he didn't mean to say

New Balance filed a lawsuit against Karl Lagerfeld because of the use of a block capital letter. Honestly feel it's unnecessary of NB to do.

Yes, the fitness talk has now spun out in to GoT spoilers. I hate to say it, but the only one who can save us know is...Miran. Help us Mian, you're our only hope!

So the first of graduation-related activities will happen tomorrow and I have yet to buy a tie/bowtie. I already have a black (linen suit) that I'll wear with a white dress-shirt, to which I'm thinking a dark either navy or burgundy tie with a silver tiebar and white pocketsquare would work well.

This sound good?

He's saying that having 30" biceps is useless, not that the muscle has no strength. I'm inclined to agree, after a certain point you're just putting on mass and the extra strength ceases to be useful for most sports and activities.

@ridethecliche I did cross country in HS and I would have been an immensely better runner had I squatted. Abs and some upper body muscle help you hill climb, and flexibility is obviously important.

I think you're confusing cut and huge. Your friend probably has pretty good definition and is lean, but lacks mass. People don't get huge doing that otherwise yoga practitioners and bruce lee would have been big as shit.

Am I? Gee thanks for me telling me how my friend looks even though you've never seen him before. Apparently this guy is a freak of nature then.

The like 'my goals are better than your goals' stuff is so passe.

Edit: Holy shit, I thought this was RHET and wondered why this didn't happen like 2k pages ago.

I love this above post so much. Tell me, how long have you been working out? How much do you weigh/what's your height? How old are you that you've acquired such infinite wisdom about fitness?

waring tribes? the guy who just got done doing squats...i don't know what a power rack is we have two different racks at my gym. Have you seen what bodybuilders look like? So you would refer to that as useful muscle?

It's funny how (what I assume) to be the rhet guys come out of the woodwork anytime this topic comes up.
