You have a thread here where every four posts, someone calls someone else "nephew."

But most of the posters are MCers. It just happens to be in SWD because jet started it here but is an MC thread in spirit.

the consolation is that even if you mess up, you'll still get halfway decent coffee that tastes kinda like coffee. and caffeine

Well tbh half the time I half ass it.

I usually bust out the scale and timer the first few times into a new bag and then just kinda guesstimate after. I don't think my palate is good enough to be able to tell the differences blind but it's a nice starting point

There are some seriously weird, fucked up people on this forum. Bunch of NAMBLA members.

Read today that Haven have been working on an in-house brand over the last year or so. Curious to see how it turns out. One of my favourite shops for sure...

And what happened to the Four Horsemen affiliate thread? Can't find it even by search.

It's the same about clothing, though. It's like how many of us would nerd out at your ToJ Hand-Made AnaCondor Concho Krokodil jacket when most people are just like whatever. Spending just a little bit more time to make your coffee Artisinal™ isn't that difficult or time-consuming once you get into it. Plus it's just another facet in life that you can now have a smug and unearned sense superiority, and in the end that's really all we're living for innit?
