Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
I've been using this for about a month now and really like it.

As an aside, I started getting into oud, sandalwood, frankincense etc. when I lived in Dubai. Many of the markets there are just filled with aromatics and oils from which you can blend any combination you could ever want. Very high quality and very cheap.

Looking for some durable and high quality summer pants. I know its difficult to be both light and durable but I would like an upgrade from Uniqlo easy linen pants. Before that I wore outlier ultralights but I can't shake the feeling I'm getting ripped off :/ shorts could be an option but I don't have chiseled legs like some sfers do.

I just grabbed some of the Uniqlo linen pants. Do you just not like them, or do you feel like they'll fall apart soon? I like mine but can't imagine they'll last all that long.

At the risk of inviting condescension, can someone school me on DRKSHDW jeans? Surprised at the lack of info on SF about them. Are there two cuts (Detroit/skinny Berlin/straight)? More? Do they vary much year to year? How's the sizing/fit?

Thanks

The sizes (at least ime) seem to vary significantly from wash to wash.  I'm not sure about year to year, but I'm sure that someone will chime in here.  There are pairs of size 32 that make me feel like maybe I should try out for The Bigggest Loser, and there are other pairs that make me look a little bit like the after picture.  I think that it's one of those brands for which you actually need to ask for measurements.

Drkshdw denim sizing is wack, I wouldn't buy without trying on or having good measurements and an idea is how they're gonna fit you

Give Wonder Wood a try, you may like it.

edit: nvm, it was mentioned a few pages back. Wonder if I'm the only one who reads these threads on my subscription feed from last page to whatever I last read.

Ironically (?), the images that got me into the vintagey, Americana kick, were not actually of an American:

I like them fine, I am just wondering if there is a good upward alternative. I got the natural color and after wearing Guidi boots ONCE hem is all smudged. Can't blame the pants about that though
