LA Guy - I'll check out the upstate NY firms and also Geneva Shirts. Thanks for the tip. I lived in LA for 35 years. Best, Steve Downing

It depends on how many layers of wallpaper and how many years the person has lived there.

I lived in an apartment, where the previous resident had been smoking cigars everyday for 40 years and we had to remove 5 layers of wallpaper and wash the walls and celling down to get rid of the smell prior to moving in.

so the machine didn't work?

would've kept the cigar smell

I don't really think of Margiela being known for their prints, aside from the occasional trompe l'oeil.  Does anyone know who the current print designer(s) at Margiela is/are right now?  Or do you think some random project they gave to an intern that was particularly adept at this sort of work

Jacket I bought last season on sale for pretty cheap, tempted to buy another.. But I have so many jackets

Like exactly the same? I have a problem with never buying the same stuff multiple times, even in different colorways. Like there are lots of really cool fabrics done for EG andovers, but I can't bring myself to buy them cause I already have a grey wool one. I'll buy the baker, bedford, etc, but can't bring myself to buy the same cut/details in a different fabric. Same with Visvim, really like Virgils but I'd feel weird having two pairs

I think it's too big of a project for an intern.  They did some rooms in this hotel: http://blog.damasketdentelle.com/index.php/2013/03/hotel-la-maison-de-martin-margiela/

They've done other interior stuff too.  Lots of mirrors and trompe d'loeil white prints.

Did ebay get rid of the 'feed' feature?
'The Rideau" one is alright

still prefer the trompe l'oeil doors that were on yoox

I think the feed was always an experimental thing that they tested on a random % of users.

Didn't bother to try tried a couple other things, but when found out that there was 5 layers everything went.

Lived in another place where there was 7 layers in some places and one of them was newspapers from the 70s.

I have two bedfords in different fabrics and want a third. Also want another Andover.

I have an andover and a truman. Must find a bedford to complete the trifecta
