Most of the traditional companies do not make zips at all. I own two side-zips from traditional makers: Sutor Mantellassi and Massaro.

You know sometimes I just go to google and type in "Orlebar Brown Gilt" and looking at the images I can find trunks/shorts/shirts/polos 50-70% off still in stock and they will ship it (has worked twice for me). I guess this works for me since I know my exact size in everything so the no returns thing is not a concern....but yeah

Speaking of COS, they just opened up their U.S. web store. If you go to their site and sign up for their newsletter, you get 25% off your order if placed by June 7th (and for all the lazy people out there, the code is HELLOAMERICA).

Edward Green has a model called the Memphis. They don't look as good as those Saint Crispins though, and probably not as good as Massaro.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

What's the quality like on the Sutors? They go on here for pretty cheap:

Sign up their newsletter/customer club, they often have closed sales with substantial discounts, but the stockiest route works as well Rans Boone has/had a bunch of 2-3 season old stuff, at a good price.

Septieme Largeur used to have one model similar to the Edward Greens.

Another one is Alfred Sargent Greaves: http://alfredsargent.co.uk/exclusive-range/greaves/ but the toe might be too chiseled

Is the top button on hidden placket a usually hidden? Because I believe that it is not on the COS shirts.

Stopped by Muji and got some lighter summer U-necks, the one they have in right now are pretty cool and quite cheap.

So many non paying bidders lately, unbelievable. Why go through the trouble of creating an account just to buy something you don't pay for?
