Random fashion thoughts - Page 6279

Oh, also - in the wake of the Frozen Waves insanity, some of you may be interested in a recent interview I did with Stephan Schneider. It's on the NMWA tumblr. He's a super interesting, super funny guy, and he had some hilarious things to say about his own clothes and fashion in general that are probably worth a read. Kind of made me wonder why I like what I like, which is never a bad thing.

(There will be a longer Part 2)

TIL Synthese's first name is Jasper.

My nickname in one class in high school was Jasper, because I always wore a super curved brim 49er hat and had a terrible goatee. I always thought that I was doing a disservice to the name.

I will be wearing white hi-tops, loose black shorts, and a black top with a red cravat. I have it on good authority that Spacepope will be wearing an all-white sailor outfit and over-the-knee high-heeled boots.

I'm just gonna pull a photo from r/gonewild and Photoshop my suit and shorts outfit on it.

This post made me realize that I already kind of do, at least during warm weather. shog[1].gif

Not exactly the same thing, but an androgyny challenge could be interesting.

I think this is a good idea, and that it should be done. Brad, want to run it since you suggested it?

How exacting are you guys with waist size for jeans? I have a pair that could probably be taken in an inch or a little more, but I'm thinking I should just throw on a belt, relax, and roll with them as is. Seat looks fine. With wool trousers I want a "perfect" fit but am thinking maybe I shouldn't worry so much with denim.

(What I'm really saying: I'm lazy and don't want to go to the tailor.)

Denim stretches and tightens so easily I wouldn't worry unless they're causing problems

Usually my denim stretches out a bit by the time it's ready for a wash and then fits perfectly afterwards for a bit until it stretches again
