I've worked with a guy with a similar injury. I used to build cabinets for a living. A former coworker of mine tattooed a wedding band on his finger because it's kinda dumb to wear a ring and run shit through a tablesaw all day.

I put a 3" nail through my hand once. Don't work with my hands anymore.

I really want a Paul Harnden jacket but PH prices are so uncool. Kicking myself that I missed out on the SIlent farmers jacket a while ago on b&s.

Please talk me out of spending $1000+ on a jacket (that apparently isn't even well constructed).

Since you've already conquered MMM, your only options are to diverge or rest on your laurels. You too young to retire. I'll second the tip for Dries, his semi-stoic florals fits you and your virgin islands style.

They're coming close to being played out (he's peaking hard now) and they're grossly overpriced. The fabric isn't as 'luxe' as his contemporaries and neither is the tailoring.

Thank yourself for avoiding the tail end of an internet hype machine. For reference, here's the SZ search cloud:

Anyone have any experience with Brooklyn Tailors shirts, particularly sizing? I'm guessing 3/M would be ok in the chest and shoulders but short in the sleeves and maybe the body, while 4/L would have enough sleeve length but fit pretty boxy in the body.

The plane had hit the water at more than four hundred miles per hour, nose first, two engines still firing, very unusual, extremely rare; the jet was two hundred feet long, and the tail rammed straight into the nose, everything exploding into more than one million pieces. Later, someone would be in charge of counting pieces at the military base, in a hangar where bits of the plane would fill thousands of crates and cardboard boxes. At impact, the bodies on board had been what the medical examiner would call degloved, simply shorn from the bones. You couldn't pick them up in your hands. You had to scoop them in nets.

No one has survived this crash, the television reporter told the world. From what we are seeing, there are no survivors....

laugh.gif That's pretty much it. The ER doors blew open and in walks this team of firemen wheeling a guy with some type of ornately full-sized bathroom door hanging from his anus they had to whittle down with a power saw in front of a room full of students. I don't remember if it required surgery, just my uncle's insistent laughter, my hours of confusion over why someone would sit on a door handle, the subsequent fumbling explanations, full of euphemism, and the mom's steady whacking of my uncle's head with a rolled-up Chinese take-out menu. IIIRC, the discussion was prompted by 1989's Gross Anatomy, starring Mathew Modine.
