Thanks for the advice and recommendations...but I still like the backpack I originally posted
Does it not look durable? The material is made of technical fabric, product descriptions says it was designed to be wearable on the streets and slopes.
Here are the inside of the bag...looks well made to me, I don't see how this will fall apart
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Porter makes technically solid bags from what I know, but marketing copy (which happens to be some of what I write for a living) like that doesn't mean shit. You def want a bag you like, and like I said: only you can say if it's big enough. What kind of clothes do you need? how many pairs of shoes? Do you need to carry a sleeping bag? Are you OK w/ carrying a rain cover for it if it's not waterproof?
Porter are also notoriously expensive. What ridethecliche and I are trying to say is: buy whatever you want, but if you are concerned w/ performance beyond the bag's looks/style do some homework or you may end up having a really stylish bag to carry around all your soaking wet clothes. Everything we've posted will stand up to serious abuse and weather. If you don't like them, that's cool, but we're not gonna make you feel better about a bag that we don't have all the info on.
