I have a pair of Hans that I won at a Blackbird event, but even for their retail price (around $150?) I'd say they're a good deal. Solidly built, comfortable, not to light or too heavy, fit my rather large head very well

I am downgrading my favorite sandals to house loungers...they are a pair of leather Ralph Laurens (the only non-Margiela thing I wear on my feet biggrin.gif). I am looking for something a little more supportive than just a leather thong sandal yet still doesn't cover up my foot too much. Ralph Lauren has been so far the best I've come across they can probably last me a life time and this after throwing them in the ocean countless times etc.

I'm between these Ralphs

And these Dan Wards which have a nice concept even though I know nothing about quality

If you were in my shoes which one looks best for beach wear?

Can I piggyback on this question and ask if there are any cool Clubmaster-esque sunglasses out there? Garrett Leight any good? $200ish budget maybe.

Regis, Second ones look comfy but the RLs seem to be great quality (as you've described)
I dunno, I almost never go barefoot so maybe the Ralphs are comfy too!

I don't think I'm going to be much help, but Cutler & Gross and Thom Browne make the best Clubmaster like Sunglasses

Thanks man, this is pretty much what i've heard from people I've asked. Ralph hasn't let me down yet. The Dan wards would be a lot more comfortable because of the rubber soles I think, eh better go with my gut

I do. The price may be ridiculous but it is iconic and to me the best of its type.

Size 48 and 50 gone now. And all the black/white geos are gone too from TBS. The geos were gone within hours after they were stocked, even before the TBS email went out announcing that they were stocked (at $50 more than last season).

I suspect that a lot of people passed on one or both of these things in previous seasons because of the ridiculous price and then spent the next year or so regretting, and they don't plan on doing that again.

Also TBS has 20% off for US buyers and a 15% code....aw yeah.

In that case its a bit better.

You are right the ma1 is an iconic piece as are the geos. But, at that price i'd rather wait for an RO leather. I just value leather more than nylon and that should be the case. Either way, do what makes u happy.
