I had a glass and plastic Bodum, didn't clean it for a few weeks (I think I went on vacation or something?)

Forgot to ask in last post, has anyone here cut the bottom hem off a button-up shirt?

Stumbled upon a pretty nice one in the HM store, but it's supposed to be tucked so would like to shorten it a bit (and maybe have a square hem? could be cool maybe).
And I'm fine with a raw hem, just wondering if anyone has any tips for making sure that the raw hem looks as good as possible

Pretty sure that cut off and raw hem are not the same thing.

You have to sew the hem because otherwise it will disintegrate. Just run a stitch along the cut.

Delivery guy just showed up with what I thought was my weekly jawnz fix -- it was a box of Nespresso refills.

I alternate btwn espresso pulls and Beehouse pour overs.

You can get refillable cups on ebay and then you can put proper coffee in it, instead of the pickwick of coffee.

to call nespresso "espresso" makes me sad. #coffeesnob

As far as cheap coffee goes, Nespresso is pretty good.

you can actually fill your own nespresso pods? that would be great.

for a quickie home shot it's not too bad. the machine was a gift ... so now i'm 'in the club'. someday I'll upgrade to something nicer. too much to buy.

I honestly don't get coffee snobs, at all. Nespresso + the foamer thing it comes with makes delicious coffee.

you can use these things to fill your own pods:

http://www.amazon.com/CoffeeDuck-Refillable-Coffee-Capsules-Nespresso/dp/B005ZEGLH2/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1394743471&sr=8-6&keywords=nespresso+pods

reviews are a little wonky imo, it seems like the pods are not perfect but its a solution...

RE coffee snobs, if they want to take the time to get the espresso machine, grind the coffee, and clean it then by all means do so, for others like myself nespresso is quick and easy and that is more important to me than a tiny bit of a better taste.

time is the most valuable thing in the world, you cannot buy more

time is a flat circle-shaped stain on your french press.
