it might be rude if you gesture towards the tag and do a couple quick eyebrow raises

or if you see him/her look at the price and you let out a low slow mmmmhmmm or a "cowabunga bruh"

That's like telling your tailor, "My shit is expensive so you better not fuck it up."

Depending on the type of alteration, it might actually be best to leave the tag on in case they say they can't do the alteration you're asking for. Obviously not going to be a problem if it's a simple hem job or something.

Been trying out the way I buy clothing with other aspects of everyday life i.e. from just one brand

Clothing/Shoes/Accessories/Jewelry - Maison Martin Margiela
Beachwear - Orlebar Brown
Gymwear - Nike
Sleepwear - Sunspel
Body/Skin Care - Aesop
Oral Care - Oxyfresh
"Baller" Jewelry - Cartier

I think I kind of like this whole idea

I find myself gravitating to one brand per clothing category (knits, denim, sneakers, etc.). When I own something from a maker not on "the list,"  even if it's nicer than my other stuff, it bothers me like crazy. Weird form of OCD, I guess. I do the same outside clothing in a few areas (computers and luggage come to mind).

Has anyone seen the new Thom Browne line stuff in person? Thoughts?

Might consider kopping one day if I need a boring 'first suit'.

nice meeting you, and glad to hear you liked it!  Did you go with the Bronte burger?  Those australians do things sort of weird, but I like it.  Just can't go in expecting the texture or taste of a normal patty.

Interview at Amazon tomorrow and I have no idea what to wear. I guess that means suit.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Well 42 would probably stretch out if they fit a little tight but 1/2 size can make a shoe fit perfectly. why not ask for measurements? And I'd go 42.

Kind of related to that. Is it to demanding to ask for insole and/or outsole measurement when buying something on bst or ebay? Some responses I've gotten amaze me.

"It fits like x brand size x' Well this assumes I have that brand which is a totally different aesthetic and shoe type.
'Fits like stock/usual x size' Not true, sizing even varies from within a brand.
'I don't have measuring tape' Selling a 400+ shoe and not only you don't measuring tape but you don't make any effort to get one? I mean you can even print one ffs.

If it helps, I'm a 44 in MMM GATs, a 10D in brannock sizing (AE sizing too), and a 43 in MMM boots. I wear a UK9 in Lanvin too, and an 11 in nikes.
