random fried chicken thought: i <3 America's Test Kitchen/Cook's Country. reminds me of a less whacky version of old-school Good Eats.

We do have a showroom, which is kind if a royal mess now with working on the new collection for Paris, but we always welcome people here and would love to hist you and show you our work.

Hopefully you are here before January 15th, because I  am away from then until the end of the month. the staff will be here, but I prefer to host people when i am here........

I don't know all those, but that sounds pretty awesome to me. add in some chinatown dumplings and you're all set. From my recent experience, you'll enjoy IF. (and cut barney's if u gotta.)

God, tailors are some of the hardest people to work with. My local tailor wants to do a military hem (where the back is longer than the front) on a pair of suit trousers because they are slim. It's only for my wedding after all :\

Edit: oh, reading CM now, and it looks to be common practice these days. Goes to show how often I wear a suit shog[1].gif

I'm sure I'm gonna sound all amateur hour, but a friend took me once for the crab and pork dumplings at Joe's Shanghai...so good!

So I'm thinking about the jacket linked below. I've actually tried it on, but it really billows out at the bottom. So if I wanted to keep it, I'd need to have it tailored to bring it in from the waist down. Based on the photos in the link, any reason why a tailor couldn't do that?

the pockets might get close to the side seams depending on how much you take out. just an aesthetic thing.

Yeah, can be done for sure, last year I had a Filson field jacket (wool w/moleskin lining) tailored, it was cut for a 350 lb dude. They also narrowed the sleeves and raised the arm holes, turned out GREAT...
