FromJapan? If you're bidding on YJP, the auction gets extended whenever someone bids at the end so it's not over til bids stop coming in

If you're talking about something else then nevermind smile.gif

Oh. Goddamnit. I wanted a few things for a while, but didn't want to go through proxy etc. They didn't sell for weeks, but some didn't get relisted. Some got relisted starting with 1 Yen rather than a semi-high starting bid and people started going crazy on them.

Finally finished my Rakuten order, all in all it wasn't too complex other than trying to decipher roughly translated Japanese and the crazy format of emails.

Should I expect the jacket in like 7-10 days? I'd hope to get it a little earlier considering I paid $45 for shipping...

Can somebody explain to me why one uses a sniper bid service in the first place? If you give the sniper service your highest possible bid, how is that different from just giving your max bid to eBay. While I get it that there is the possibility that your max bid will be revealed well before the end of the auction, the reality is that when you are buying something you should really think to assign a value to what you're buying. If that value gets exceeded than so be it.

There has never been anything I liked enough to go though the bidding process on. BIN or nothing for me

The world is not static, other potential buyers will be influenced by your bid.

More likely to catch other bidders off guard if you bid at the last second. Which wouldn't work if everyone bid their "maximum", but let's be honest; maximum is a pretty flexible amount in practice.

I don't like when sellers don't offer a BIN. Bidding gets poor lil snows heart racing. redface.gif

these actually look pretty great, but sizing seems a bit weird. Attachment is also about the same price and no chance of a Kickstarter will-I-or-wont-I get it

the measurements are like......almost the same as zam's sizing lol

For our initial run of jeans we’re offering 3 fits; a tapered fit, a straight fit, and a curved seam fit which we’re calling the J-Cut.

The J-Cut... You don't say.

Because you have the highest chance of getting the lowest price if you snipe. If you make you max bid well before the auction, then some folks (appropriately called nibblers) will incrementally eat away at your bid.

Heck, "Sniping is part of the eBay experience" : http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/outbid.html
