Lots of ss14 stock is up on LVR, in case anybody hasn't seen it yet -- way, way more than I've seen anywhere else (as usual).
Givenchy tees start at $1100 now.
The Givenchy stock seems like a weird Tisci's Greatest Hits collection because there's the electronic/audio equipment prints from the runway show, a bunch of floral stuff that appears to be new, and then Madonnas/saints, baseball, Rottweilers, shark teeth, and even a Birds of Paradise tee, all of which were motifs from ss10ish to ss13ish (ugh, I sound as though I might as well be gravely analyzing a Nicki Minaj music video). I suppose I'm just surprised people will still pay MSRP for basically the same prints as eBay and the other after-market channels already offer at lower prices.
The amount of Dsquared stock is breathtaking in its vastness even more than its mediocrity. That page of clothes is more than Forward's entire stock, I'm sure of it.
On the subject of seasonal collections, Fall-Winter 2014
menswear begins in about a month.
- Jan. 6 has runway shows by John Smedley, Orlebar Brown, Jonathan Saunders, and Astrid Andersen
- Jan. 7 is J.W. Anderson, Christopher Raeburn, Margaret Howell, Christopher Kane, Alexander McQueen
- Jan. 8 is Pringle of Scotland, Tom Ford, Burberry, Christopher Shannon
Presumably Paris and London shows will follow hot on the heels of the London collections
