I was being sarcastic....

And I didn't know SP was going to carry Ute but it's nice to hear that he'll stocked at SP again I really like my basecamp trousers. Another designer is Tim Labenda who worked under Ute has some nice stuff too.

That is actually an incredible idea.

Would be nice to get some of those early NCB farmer's jackets , was good stuff. Same with Damir (pre-aw11, say) and raiding the archives of MMM from decades past !

Bless is improbably cool , as would be some CCP. Imagine if we could all commission a group-order of horses upon which we'd take fit pics (except for Sipang who, at 7'3, would need an elephant and unfortunately fall out of the frame again like last time we took a pic at our coffee meetup...). And with the horses would come Harnden suits, so we'd be Anglo-Austrian peasant fascists riding to conquer new peoples.

We'd need an enemy, of course. Something exotic, strange, foreign, different. Maybe some Yohji hakama-clad eastern warriors, one season he did denim hakamas so Teger could wear those ones. They could ride ... maybe some Schneider tapis, magical ones that can fly of course. A return to WWII , barbarity to ensue

I'd make my suggestion but it's obvious and I assume irrelevant for the majority , sorry for the nonsense :-/

can anyone do a better job of explaining the fromjapan fees better than they do? basically, about how much should i expect added on top of my item price? is there a better proxy service? we really need a "proxying for noobs" thread.
There's a fee calculator below the log in area that will calculate your charge 1 and charge 2 payments. It's called 'shipping fee calculator'.
yeah i looked at that, but i'm pretty bad at estimated size/weight, i think. or something.

here's a screencap i just made of my last fromjapan order. fees n' shipping came out to about 17% of the original price

I've reconsidered trying to proxy one of the only two _7 leathers I really like from jp, I'd given up a while back and was waiting for it to show up on the forums or ebay and then one shows up but in a fucking sz 3, wtf.
