Yes, yes a thousand times yes esp. since Inverallan stopped taking orders.

They would look a lot like Inis Meain or Inverallan sweaters - probably more like the latter, but we would use probably somewhat lower gauge wools.  I like a 5 gauge wool, but you go up to a 12, and you have a huuuugggge sweater, just from the thickness.

If you're just starting out and have no or bad credit a secured credit card is the way to go. You give a bank $500 and you use the card with a $500 limit. After a year you get your money back and have an regular credit card.

You have one of each, and you can buy anything from anywhere that accepts CC.  Overseas though, it's useful to have an Amex, just for the service.  It's also useful to carry a fair bit of cash, since much of the world is not as credit card friendly as the US and Northern Europe.

I don't find this to be true. Pretty much everybody accepts my discover card except the local Chinese joint

stuff i've seen (mostly at project no 8 in nyc) has been really good, especially for the price. it is pretty basic, but if that's what you're looking for then it's not an issue. a little about the brand: http://www.projectno8.com/t/creators/aspesi/

fisherman sweater idea sounds great, Fok.

3 Credit Cards for 5 years with no missed payments and now I almost have it all paid off. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif my credit rating is sparkling

I feel very fortunate that I've never been in a position where I was forced to spend more in a month on a credit card than I could make (or earn by selling).  I can't imagine ever carrying a balance it sounds awful, although I understand the advantages of it if there is a 0% apr.
