new ideas are usually a combination of older ideas put together in new ways.

you're definitely right about this. and it's not hard to tell what ms. demeulemeester was getting at. that's part of the reason I don't take these things too seriously. smile.gif

Maybe it's about timing? About 6 months ago I picked up a pair of DH 19cm's off LVR with a 30% off code or something, I think it came out to $280 including $20-30 shipping. At $400-500, pass, but for $250, sure I'll give it a shot. They're the indigo ones, Made in Italy, and size 27 so maybe it's a smaller market for that combo?

It's really hard to find BNWT MIJ 19cm or 17.5cm in 29-31 range under $400.

I'm a 33/34, but doesn't look much easier

dior sizing is ~same as APCs?

dior cuts are based on APCs, yes...would be wary going from an APC cut to its DH counterpart without inspecting measurements first though
post #85915 of 109053
DH jeans are inspired by APC's but the cuts are quite different (and there are at least 5 different APC cuts where DH has 3).

19cm sizing is similar to NPS or PS sizing, but with higher rise for that sagged look. 17.5cm (at least the ones I've tried) fit at least a size smaller than NPS or PS.

I've never tried on 21cm's, NS, NC or Hipsters so I can't comment on them.

We don't get hipsters in Europe, so my first thought was raw denim booty shorts can be comfortable.

I wear the same size in raw MIJ 19cms as I do in APC NS.

for some reason i find myself really liking some recent raf stuff that I just wasn't into a year ago. i used to feel it was a little sterile but something clicked and i feel like i get it more. not entirely sure why.
