Oh and Lou Reed was an asshole (good musician though).

Regis, pretty sure it was here we talked about and posted that a few years (2-3?) ago. Shit is hilarious.

This is a colorized photo of Lewis Powell.

He is one of the men who conspired to kill Abraham Lincoln.

It's from 1865.

I think he's wearing LUC.

About time to get a new winter coat. The eternal question: single or double breasted?

maybe a noob question... i was thinking of picking these up (pic below). Questions:

1. I only have the low versions, do the high's fit similarly?
2. I've never worn high tops (I know I know), are they any less comfortable or more restrictive, etc in terms of fit/style?
3. Most important, I'm concerned about the color. Is this blue useful? I can't imagine wearing them with blue jeans... and even if I think of the W+H khakies in olive or brown, I'm not so sure they'll pair up... thoughts?
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

M: 22.5 ptp
L: 23.5 ptp
XL: 24.5 ptp

Go with the Large, with White Mountaineering most people have a tendency to size down... don't! it will fit weird. Just wear your normal american size and you should be good. It's all supposed to fit a bit looser.

Blue sneakers? Meh. They're like the burgundy pants of footwear.

If you're looking for hi-tops, I'd suggest looking for something else to get your fix—there's better looking stuff out there. As for comfort, it really just depends on the shoe. This has become standard advice in the past few years, but it bears mentioning that you might want to futz around with Yoox if you haven't yet: the shipping/return policy is great, so you can try some different things on and just send back whatever you don't want.

Wait, what does this mean for my burgundy pants?
