@4est all that with just an eraser?  Can u share how you did it again?

thanks KoY and penance

And yes, it was all just with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.  I just took off the original laces, and sort of lightly scrubbed away at the whole thing.  I might need to apply some sort of clear wax to them though, but I don't know anything about that stuff.

It took an entire eraser start to finish for both shoes (although I saved both soles for the end and the texture on those is what really destroyed it).  Couldn't have been easier!

So, I can't seem to find it anywhere in this thread, though I know it's been talked about before: how have people gone about re-painting their painted MMM GATS? And what sort of paint? Mine are looking beat to hell, could probably use another coat on them

On a similar note, can you get GATs resoled? My heel is just about gone.

Hi all,

just saw a member with hunters on the WARWT thread. link below.

I've been considering whether or not to get a pair of Hunter boots.
Where I live is pretty cold and it rains often.
So do you guys think a guy can wear them???

Maybe a shorter version? dunno realli

Thanks in advance !

on the topic of cleaning white shoes and repainting GATs. my grey painted GATs came with this stuff, which is AMAZING when it comes to rejuvenating any pair of white sneakers. it literally covers stains, dirt and makes sneakers look brand new. i've also used it to paint a pair of my girlfriends chuck taylors, a la the recent converse x MMM collab and they came out surprisingly well.

Thanks for the tip, I was going to paint my converse and wasn't sure how or what to use. Where can I buy it?
