Soft launch to pre-registered users and SFers was on Friday.   We sent emails to anyone who is subscribed to the newsletter but some got caught in spam folders or those new gmail tab thingies.

Now, when are we going to start selling your trousers?

MailChimp tends to be pretty great at getting through spam folders. Have you properly configured the SPF records and DKIM?

koy, I know at least ln-cc was a stockist for a while. I think if you check the more SZ-type retailers you'll find some of his stuff.

RFT:

- anyone looking for good U necks should scoop up the recent Margiela versions. I can't think of a bad thing to say about them. Nice, slim-ish but but relaxed-in-a-good-way fit. Most SF budgets can justify getting 2-3 good U necks to wear out, so get em then grab stacks of beaters for $10 or whatever from someplace else for rest of the week.

- Club Monaco is better than you think for random stuff like good print shirts for a reasonable price. Their shirts are better than Uniqlo, yes more expensive, but people should splurge now and then and get a $90 shirt. Your local CM is probably awful so look online.

Watch, I am going to summon @gdl203 - we are finalizing our location really soon (@leftofthedial from Epaulet went to scout a couple of locations for us today).  November 16-17.  No Man Walks Alone, @Kent Wang (back in the day, he was the king of the three inch), and @kirbya of The Hanger Project will be there, and maybe a few surprises as well.  I promise that it will be laid back.  We'll have some middle shelf booze (top shelf if someone decides to bring it), and some good food, so that you can chill out for a little bit instead of rushing around.

Really looking forward to seeing a lot of you guys.  But no, you can't crash in my hotel room.

What width laces should I use on these?  6mm left or 8mm right?  (I realize both are laced in the same direction but they won't be once I pick a width)

anyway, for the sake of comparison, Abdelrahman's [poly blend] kandora runs about 3-4X what it would cost to have a pure wool one made by the Emir's personal tailor who does a very limited number of orders per year to begin with....

edit: have a tbs code but i keep looking and there's nothing really that interests me ... i already had gotten what i wanted from there before. all i ponder is how a pair of black indy's would work for me...
