quality on uniqlo flannels is pretty impressive...totally wearable, and not even in a settling kind of way

just got an apc and though the apc is nicer, if I could find this print at uniqlo, it wouldn't even be a question

Wish they weren't mostly button down collars. confused.gif

Happy for the change in the flannels. The ones last season had weak, floppy collars.

Cyc check wvg you could pick your own collar for the material. Price is also not bad at all if you join the tote holder.

Didn't someone in this thread asked about this exact same topic awhile back? I think it was lesamurai or master milano

Gitman has a black/white flannel this season but the pattern is a little bit larger and it has multi-colored flecks.

article is from 2008, so plenty may have changed since. but as far as i know tailored items are still made at primo. other stuff, like shirts, may have moved elsewhere but I can't say for sure one way or another

Too bad no amount of COS sweaters will ever fill the gaping hole left in your heart

Most Thom Browne stuff including tailoring is made in the Comme Des Garcons factory in Japan now and has been for the past few years. I don't think I've seen any made in USA tailoring items in quite a while. Shirts are Garland shirt factory I believe (the shirts seem to show up with the Brooks Brothers outlet resellers). Some knits made in Ireland / Scotland and shoes are made by Sanders now (used to be Tricker's). Sunglasses are by Dita.

Shirts are good quality, suiting is in line with say Southwick so really not priced too well unless cut works perfect for you and you want tri color grosgrain everywhere and working buttonholes.
