I still stand behind my original idea: Martin Margiela would be a great interview, and it would be interesting to hear his views on the direction of his namesake house, if he has any future plans in the realm of fashion, what he does nowadays, and how much, if any influence he has (and had) on the direction of MMM.

Though I can imagine how this would be a hard interview to try to arrange.

I'd have thought he'd be contractually obligated not to say much about the current state of MMM. :/

Martin Margiela (the man, not the maison) hasn't interacted with the press since the '80's, so that is unlikely to happen.  I doubt you could even find an email address, let alone a phone number.

I think any of the big-name designers would be neat, particularly Dries, but too hard to get a hold of.

Sitting in a tattoo studio, about to get a tattoo. It's gonna be some Chinese or Japanese or Korean symbol (they're all the same anyway, right?).

Clearest picture I've seen of the guy. Better chance of Teg walking around Europe trying to find him then getting an interview. I think a big point of Margiela was not being about one person but for all. Seemed to use a lot of 'we' and no 'I' so an interview would go against that idea I imagine
