I've been so good about sticking to the no kop spree all summer (okay, I bought a Siv Stoldal brooch/pin thing on a whim, but it was only $20), I think it's time I reward myself with some cluthinz

**** I've had pretty bad luck with my clothing gambles lately. A blanc and noir sweatshirt i bought has sleeves that are 6+ inches too long. I'm 6'2" with proportional arms, who the **** are they making this sweatshirt for? To top it off, the ribbing is loose as **** so the sleeves live around my fingertips.

When overpaying for a plain navy sweatshirt you expect better fabric and better design. I got neither.

Sounds like you just bought a sweater in a style that you don't like. No way are the sleeves that long unintentionally.

Blanc and noir is a copy-cat company of wings and horns. They are the furthest from avant garde imaginable

No way you have proportional arms. I am 5'11", and I have good reach, but not that of a 6'2" man, closer to those of a 6' man, and the Blanc&Noir sleeves in a medium fit me. Similarly, the arms of a Calvin Klein collection suit fit nearly perfectly, MC style. You have shorter than average arms.

I bought an XL, which fits well everywhere but the arms. I wear 36" dress shirts, which I think is pretty average for my height.

I actually bought it because every other sweatshirt I have owned that has fit well in body had sleeves that were too short. Problem solved I guess.

ETA: Measured the sleeve at 39.5". I'm going to hot wash and dry it which will hopefully take some length off.

so some pants I just bought from someone just had a crotch blow out, and even the seams in the back blew out...wtf.

Should I just return it and ask for my money back? doesnt seem like the pants would hold up well even if I had them repaired...kinda ridiculous this happens to "lightly used for a summer" items.
