I think it actually already is.

I am just glad that I can wear my ties again without sharing the same space with some of these people.

Everyone in SWD that invest in Black clothing... beware... your time of persecution has arrived.

There's a dude on Yahoo Japan named Kokua421 that buys shit cheap on Rakuten and relists it for 3-5x the price and no one ever bids and I wish I could strangle him

If it helps, imagine kokua sitting alone in his room surrounded by unsold clothes that he can't wear because they're not his size. Unable to afford groceries because his product hasn't moved. Crying.

buyer still hasn't paid or responded to my messages. fu

I dunno, you can see on the mobile app what buyers pay and I haven't seen any too unreasonable costs from my auctions through the GSP. I've actually seen a spike in international sales since beginning to offer it on all items, and have only gotten good feedback. As always though ymmv.

I don't think so. GSP fees can be almost as high as the item often times.

Blackbird is creeping me out. bought a pair of pants and had to  cough up $50 in customs fees already when I saw they sent the wrong fucking pants. like a totally different model. 9 days since my first email, sent another one couple of days ago. they were pretty quick with answering before even though they're closing down, and I saw they've been posting twitter updates. it's still fucking $250 we're talking about.

sorry for /rant, just don't wanna get ripped off. just in case they don't answer for another week or so: if anyone knows how to deal with this hit me up. do credit card companies get involved with stuff like this?

Sheer ignorance and such silly advice.

The bond market fluctuates like any other - there are absolutely gains to be made in the short, medium and long term.

Only a complete investing noob doesn't observe the free lunch that is diversification.

not really. over most pretty much any period longer than 10 years, equities will outperform fixed income. only over shorter, aberrant periods, do you see debt outperform equities.

yes, but greater gains in equity markets.

thanks for clearing that up, william sharpe. not sure who was suggesting investing in a single asset or asset class, but preferable to allocate more heavily to more volatile, better returning assets if you've got a long horizon for investment.
