I want to buy some margiela dress pants

GTribe, I really, really don't think they made the Serra Alpine that recently, but they were never all that pricey compared to other models.  Guys on SuFu would know more though

I just bleached a pair of jeans and I can't decide if this strange, uniform hue of electric blue is a total botch or something I can work with.

electric blue is always something you can work with

dunno about that particular model but visvim prices in us are always way jacked up, so seems plausible

I think the main issue is that all the contrasting fades got pretty washed out. Looks like this.

Dunno if it's an EMS thing, but whenever I've had stuff sent over $1,000 AUD to Australia via EMS, I've never had it stopped at customs or any additional fees applied.

Though when I had stuff shipped to the UK, I got slapped with a customs fee no matter what the sender or the value - well if it was over £30.

I think Australia you have 1000 or 1500 limit before they start applying customs. Such a great deal

For some reason I feel the total would be roughly the same.
Ems full value if you are in US it should not be an issue. There's maybes 5% chance? They do randomly check a few packages but its rare

Visvim is $600-700ish retail for boots I think other stuff is a little cheaper now

In 2011 yen was really strong so that would actually be $430ish not $350ish

They look OK.  Maybe just try avoiding washing them again for a while and let the contrast build up again.

If you want to see electric blue jeans...

I specifically emailed the seller asking him to lower the quoted value of the item to under $99 instead of what he put at $230, on top of paying $35 goddam dollars to have it sent from USA to Canada, and when I asked the seller to either split the COD charge with me since even I could have told him UPS would get hit with brokerage and asked to have it marked lower, he said that it was my fault and I was responsible. His offer was to have it returned to him and he'd refund me the $270 less the $35 shipping each way, meaning no shoes and would have lost $70. Alternative was to pay $35 back and another $15 to brother in NYC (which he said I should have just done in the first place)....

love the shoes, but jesus, I basically paid retail. Jews don't pay retail. Altogether I got basically brand new CP's, in a limited ed color that i've been looking for something like for a couple of years, and they're super comfy, and they were less than the $430 retail (cost me like $360 all in)... still, that's a lot of moolah for some sneaks Warning: Spoiler! What you asked him to do was illegal, he's not obligated to break the law for you. Also you should have known how it was going to be shipped before it went out.

Guys there's a shipping thread which was created because this shit is really boring.

There are not enough facepalms for that post.
