Anyone ever tried having epaulets removed from a jacket? Is this easy or even possible for your average tailor to do?

Edit:

They have opened two shops in Covent Garden (Earlham street) as well.

Their old shop on Rivington st. was a hole in the wall full of design books. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

What's the material of the jacket? If cotton or wool, probably. If leather, probably not.

Also does the epaulet button to the jacket itself, or is the button attached to another piece of material that is sewn onto the jacket. If the former, probably not. If the latter, probably.

That Third Looks piece was pretty bad. Shallow, cliche'd shots at easy targets

Shame. That article really detracts from the positive energy of previous pieces.

You have a month to order what is available and he's done making clothes now (as of right now) and moving onto opening a restaurant in Korea.

Thanks for checking.

@ the third looks article.  Don't judge that site from that article.  There's much better content than that one.  I'm not even going to bother reading that one.

surprised you guys are taking that "article," if you can even call it that, so seriously. hope you weren't expecting thoughtful criticism when you saw the URL. hah. i took it about as seriously as those style archetypes

edit: as an antidote, check out this site if you don't already know of it http://www.upworthy.com/
