this post makes me want to hire him just to see what his 'advice' entails.

Styleforum, I've very likely got an internship in the city, which is fairly formal so I need to buy work clothes. I went to uniqlo and none of the ones in London have actual suits, just like cotton jackets and chinos, COS and h&m jackets were cut a bit too short. Anywhere else I should look? Might try muji, would prefer not to spend much more then $200.

Their measurements didn't make sense to me either and I've been discussing it with them a bunch and finally have a shirt coming so I can let you know. They convinced me to go TTS despite what the numbers say. They're very helpful btw, although it does take them awhile to reply.

Speaking of sizing...

How in the hell do Barena jackets fit? The TBS model sized up to a 50, but the Next door model who is roughly the same size sized down to a 46 . Does that mean I should go TTS?

anyone know how it fits? I'm usually between 38 and 40.

I'm on the large end of 46 and my sz 46 blazer fits well, albeit slightly snug. Might try a 48 next time just for giggles

For Barena, I think that TTS is usually right. However, look at the lookbook. The different jackets are supposed to have different fits, and the materials influence the way an unconstructed garment fits, a lot.

This is what happens when you combine skinny jeans with cropped pants with colored denim:
