I saw a Carhartt boutique in the swankest part of San Sebastian. Definitely not the same thing as Carhartt US.

Yes, you can reach out to them directly and they'll make you all sorts of stuff.  Aside from that. the Henrik Vibskov boutique in NYC carried some pieces for a few seasons to get it out there (they still might be, I just haven't been in), and they've set up stands at those little pop-up flea market type things that come out around the holidays, but that's just a temporary thing.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Both a candid description of body type with pertinent details (height, body type and approximate weight, complexion, shoulders wide or narrow, long or short neck) and a description of her facial features and hair are all needed for any type of reasonably advice. A girl with curves vs a girl built like a clothes hanger are going to look good in completely different things, for example, and a good neck line is also going to depend from girl to girl. Wider shoulders call for a U or boat neck or a deep V. A crewneck will be flattering on a pixie girl with narrow shoulders, but will make a girl with winder shoulders look like a linebacker (usually not the look you are going for)

5'6, thin/skinny, not wide features or shoulders, slim throughout.

That's how I felt about my Daytons for Three months when they said the 'boots are going out this Friday'. cloud.gif

Just kidding, I also love it when UPS and Fedex sometimes does that 'Surprise! we delivered one day earlier than we said we would!'

I agree re. Japanese vs. Worldwide positioning, but I think that if you travel enough (and I think that you do), it's hard to think of one and not the other. I think that goes with any number of brands - Topman in the USA vs Topman in the UK is another prime example. I just can't separate one from the other.

My B&R is also olive (or is it considered grey? anyway easy to spot and lightweight version). I agree that our personal geography and the way we perceive it's features is a psychogeography (see Guy Debord), someone who travels world capitals will see connections that are very different than someone who travels within the continental USA and will thus perceive brands very differently.
