PLEASE let this happen

Use futura on a red box background and I'll buy one

I'd be shocked if this wasn't already being sold.

I'd be shocked too. The difference is that we'd actually have permission, and that all the gross profits would actually go to her to to some charity of her choosing.

What is lame about Supreme is that they do something that has been done in street culture for a long ass time, appropriating exisiting IP and modifying it for their own use, and then they go and sue some other company for doing the same to them.

BTW, if anyone feels like appropriating our original, Roman Legion, color scheme ans typography, be my guest. I think that Affliction has already done that.

Tees + trousers + boot or shoes for the summer

Not sure what I was thinking wearing jackets during S/S. Going to just stock up for winter and wear it then I suppose.

It is too hot in the East Bay though it maybe different in the city. FFS

re: Adding zippers to shoes

Just stopped by a shop who would add zippers to a pair of boots. $65
Was a good 1.5 drive to and from the place, so, hopefully it was worth it. What may have occurred is that I like the boot so much, so, rather than trying to recoup the costs I just dumped more money to try and get it the way I like.
Anyone ever do this? Alter a clothing and regret it because they were stubborn?

I guess I'll find out in 1 week.

I actually want to do a pixellated portrait of Barbara Kruger, and then have a repro of her file on the back - so, a little different.

what's a good, sub $200 weekender? preferably something not ultra-heavy.

They often have colors not available on the site if you call. You can also have internal pockets etc. added for a small fee.

It's not luxe or anything, but have you considered Everlane's Weekender? I'm personally not a huge fan of the straps they use, but they're inoffensive bordering on kinda handsome.

I looked at it, are they well constructed? I have a herschel supply co. bag that was like $80? or something, and the straps are really cheaply attached and the whole thing (while functional) feels like a gym bag from middle school.

this isn't bad, but hard to get an idea of size on yoox. there's also some ok bags from briggs and riley, but bleh looking.

I've no idea how well they hold up, but my guess is that they're pretty much fine for sub-$100. That KVA Eastpak looks pretty cool; you can find the measurements for it in the details. Just compare that with whatever you've been using up til now.

Teger, I'd recommend the Beckel War bag.  It's bulletproof and perfectly sized to carry on a plane. Mine has taken an absolute beating and doesn't have so much as a loose thread.
